I'm Erica Fay, founder of Love Fay Kids, a small, independent, woman-owned children's resale shop based in Orange County, California.
Born on the East Coast and raised on the West Coast, I've always felt connected to both. My roots in Connecticut and my life in California have shaped my personal style and the things I'm drawn to. I love pieces with character, interesting details, beautiful fabrics, and a little something unexpected.
I've always had an appreciation for fabric - the way it feels, the way it drapes, how it moves, and how comfortable it is to wear. I especially love these qualities in children's clothing, where comfort and function matter just as much as appearance.
As a mother of two daughters and grandmother of two little girls, I've come to appreciate just how special well-made children's clothing can be. Some of the pieces my oldest daughter wore as a child are now being worn by my granddaughters. It's a lovely reminder that when clothing is made well and cared for, it can last for years, sometimes even generations.
Love Fay Kids was inspired by my daughters and granddaughters, Alicia Love and Naomi Fay, whose names helped inspire the name of the shop.
Every piece you find here was personally handpicked by me. You'll discover a mix of modern favorites, vintage treasures, and one-of-a-kind finds. I'm less concerned with labels than I am with beautiful fabrics, interesting design, comfort, quality, and practicality. Sometimes the most special pieces are the ones you least expect.
My hope is that Love Fay Kids becomes a favorite place for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to discover something special. Children grow so quickly, and there is plenty of beautiful clothing already out in the world, just waiting to be worn and loved again.
I believe good clothing deserves more than one childhood. Let's keep these pieces in circulation, passing them from one child to the next, giving them new memories and as many adventures as possible.
